John Zimmerin workshop Vanajanlinnassa 6.6.2019
Tämä päivän pituinen workshop tarjoaa osallistujille intensiivisen koulutuksen vaikuttavan ja vakuuttavan puheen tai presentaation laatimisista ja pitämisestä.
Euroopan kysytyimpiin puhekouluttajiin kuuluva John Zimmer avaa osallistujille vaikuttavan esiintymisen salat runsaiden esimerkkien, aktiivisten keskustelujen ja hauskojen harjoitusten avulla. Zimmerin workshopin jälkeen puhe- ja esiintymistaitosi nousevat uudelle tasolle ja voit hyödyntää oppimaasi kaikissa tulevissa esiintymistilanteissa. Workshopin kieli on englanti.
Ohjelma
Workshop järjestetään torstaina 6.6.
Workshop alkaa ilmoittautumisella ja aamukahvilla, jota on tarjolla klo 8.30 alkaen. Työskentely alkaa klo 9.00 ja jatkuu klo 16.00 asti.
The ability to communicate one’s ideas in a manner that is clear, compelling and memorable is an important skill. It can mean the difference between business success or failure. This workshop will help participants build a speech or presentation from the ground up. Participants should come to the workshop with a speech or presentation in mind as it will be the basis for the work to be done.
Several topics would be covered including the following:
Preparation
- Understanding the speaking situation
- Defining the objective(s) for the speech
- Developing the key message(s)
- Thinking about the audience
Content
- Creating a compelling opening
- Building the proper structure for the presentation
- Aristotle’s pillars of rhetoric
- Enhancing the presentation with stories
- Creating a powerful conclusion
Slides
- Fundamental principles of good slide design
Delivery
- How to handle nerves and boost confidence
- Voice (rate, pitch, volume, pausing)
- Body language (movement, eyes, gestures)
Participants will leave with a clear idea of the fundamentals of building a speech or presentation, a solid foundation for their particular speech or presentation and the motivation to improve their public speaking!
