Tunteet ovat vaikuttamisen tehokkain voima. Siksi parhaat puhujat, tarinankertojat ja viestijät osaavat herättää yleisössään tunteita, eivät vain välittää tietoa.
Tässä workshopissa perehdytään tunteisiin vetoavan viestinnän saloihin. Opit, miksi tunteet ovat niin keskeinen osa vaikuttavaa viestintää, miten niitä hyödynnetään puheissa, tarinankerronnassa, markkinoinnissa ja politiikassa sekä miten voit käyttää niitä itse eettisesti ja tehokkaasti. Workshop antaa käytännön työkaluja siihen, miten rakennat viestejä, jotka eivät ainoastaan vakuuta vaan myös liikuttavat ja jäävät mieleen.
Workshop alkaa ilmoittautumisella ja aamupalalla klo 8.30. Työskentely alkaa klo 9.00 ja päättyy klo 16.00. Päivän aikana tarjotaan lounas ja iltapäiväkahvi. Workshop järjestetään Vanajanlinnassa, Hämeenlinnassa. Workshopin kieli on englanti.
Public speaking is unquestionably the most powerful form of persuasion known to mankind. But why is it so powerful? Because it has the ability to harness what the ancient Greeks called pathos: human emotion.
But pathos is not exclusive to the spoken word: it is also highly effective in written campaigns. If you know how to look for it, you will find pathos subtly woven into corporate marketing, engineered into political storytelling, and driving our simplest everyday interactions. It is the foundation of almost all human connection.
Without mastering pathos, we can never truly command the persuasive powers of rhetoric.
This workshop will dive into the world of emotive rhetoric, looking at what it is, how it works, and why we all need to understand it better.
The day will include
- Global case studies: learning from international examples from the world of business and politics
- Core mechanics: exploring the core principles of persuasion and look at how they can be applied to our everyday work
- Hands-on application: practicing identifying, writing, and delivering narrative-based rhetoric

The Trainer
Guy Doza (UK) is an author, TEDx speaker, and Public Affairs Consultant with a passion for language and what it can achieve. He works with global C-suite executives, directors, and intergovernmental organisations, often focusing on justice, gender, and environmental AI technology.
With a professional background in speechwriting and an academic foundation in rhetoric, Guy has been helping people overcome their communications challenges for over a decade.
